Jug figures are typical for a 90-oz mainstream liquid detergent. No competitor product is named or depicted.

How to use it

Tear. Toss. Wash.

No cap to fill, no measuring, no drips down the side of a jug. The sheet goes in the drum with your clothes — not in the detergent tray.

1

Pull a sheet out

The box sits in a drawer or on a shelf. Close the flap and the rest stay dry.

2

Toss it in

Straight into the drum, on top of the clothes. Hot or cold, any machine.

3

Run the wash

The sheet dissolves during the fill. Nothing left behind on darks.

How much to use

Regular load1 full sheet
Small or lightly soiled load½ sheet
Large or heavily soiled load2 sheets

That’s where “up to 100 loads” comes from. 50 sheets is 50 full loads. Halving sheets for the small stuff is what takes a box to 100 — and to 20¢ a load.

The details, not buried.

Everything that used to sit behind five collapsed tabs.

One box does the laundry that two 90-oz jugs would, takes up about as much shelf space as a paperback, and leaves nothing behind for the recycling bin except cardboard.

Why sheets instead of liquid

No measuring, so no over-dosing

Most people over-pour liquid detergent. A sheet is pre-measured, so every load gets the same dose — which is also why clothes come out without that stiff, soapy feel.

Nothing to spill

No sticky cap, no blue ring on the shelf, no half-empty jug taking up a shelf you wanted back.

Plant-based ingredients, recyclable packaging

Paraben free, phthalate free, phosphate free, no bleach, vegan and cruelty free. The box recycles with paper; there is no jug to put in the bin at all.

Lighter to ship

A jug is mostly water. Taking the water out cuts the shipping weight per load by more than 90% — and shipping weight is most of what it costs, in fuel and in emissions, to move detergent around.

Per-load figures assume one full sheet for a regular load and half a sheet for a small one.

Straight answers.

The questions people actually ask before their first box.

Will it dissolve in cold water?

Yes. The sheet is a polyvinyl alcohol film designed to dissolve in cold water, and the machine agitates during the fill, which speeds it up further. Put the sheet in the drum with your clothes rather than in the detergent tray — trays are built for liquid and can hold a sheet back.

Will it leave residue on dark clothes?

It should not. There is no filler and nothing to over-pour, which is the usual cause of white streaking on darks. If you do see anything, it is almost always an overloaded drum — clothes need room to move for any detergent to rinse out.

Is one sheet really enough for a full load?

For a regular load, yes. For a large or heavily soiled load, use two. For a small or lightly soiled load, tear one in half. That is the whole dosing system — and halving sheets for the small loads is what takes a box from 50 loads to 100.

Does it work in hard water?

The Fresh Meadow sheets include sodium citrate and a plant-based water conditioner, both of which are there to stop hard-water minerals from blunting the surfactants. If you have hard water and you have been disappointed by detergent sheets before, that is usually the reason.

Is it safe for HE machines?

Yes — HE, front-load, top-load and standard machines. It is low-sudsing, which is what HE machines need.

What about sensitive skin?

Choose Fragrance Free. It has no added fragrance, no dyes and no masking scent. The Fresh Meadow version contains Linalool, a fragrance ingredient recognised as a potential skin allergen, so if anyone in the house reacts to scented detergent, take the unscented one. Every ingredient is disclosed here.

How should I store it, and does it go off?

Keep the box closed and somewhere dry — a laundry cupboard or a drawer is ideal. The sheets are designed to dissolve in water, so the one thing to avoid is damp. Stored dry they keep their full strength for well over a year.

How does the subscription work?

Pick “Subscribe & save” above and choose how often you want it. You save 15% on every delivery, and you can skip a shipment, change the date or cancel from your account at any time. No minimum number of orders. A box is 50 to 100 loads, so most households land on every two or three months.

What if I don’t like it?

Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll refund you or send a replacement — your choice. You don’t ship anything back; keep whatever is left or recycle it. That’s the Keep It or Toss It Guarantee. Read how it works.
